I kinda felt a little down that it didn't even get an honorable mention, despite a couple of stick-figure drawings getting honorable.

So, yeah, since it wasn't even in the running, mind if I tweak it a bit and try again, Sectus?

Well, a little explanation about the old contest. The interest in the previous contest was just insane and infinitely larger than I had ever imagened. I was honestly worried I'd only get a few stick drawings and nothing more when I originally submitted that thread. In total there were 64 entries, most of them really impressive, so it was inevitable and unfortunate many good drawings would not make it to the top 12.

I did actually vote for your drawing for the top 12 but the other voters didn't agree unfortunately. And your drawing was much too good to appear in the honourable mentions (the honourable mentions were dedicated to drawings which didn't look very good but were still entertaining in some manner).

But if you're able to tweak your entry to make it "feel" new, then you're welcome to re-submit it. I hope you don't feel bad for not getting a prize in the previous contest, the competition was just extremely fierce.

Sorry, we only accept drawings which meet Van Gogh quality.

Cartoon style is fine. We accept any type of drawing for the contest, so knock yourself out. (not literally please

hlc617, nice entry there ! Do you have any sort of a homepage or DeviantArt gallery or anything? I really like your style and would love to se more. :B In digital painting I always like seeing lively brushwork like yours here , the way you let the brush strokes really show rather than going for the all smooth and refined look. Wish I could be able to also grasp that someday. XD

A few people have asked about our respective characters Here's some info that may help. I'm sure Sectus will post hers later.

Note these are guidelines, just how I see Shan. This is completely open so don't feel constrained to follow these at all. These are just here to fill in gaps. Nothing more.

• Character Name - Shanaeri Rynale - Aka Shan, or Shana
• Favourite Locations - Her Home in Vabi, the beach, UW/FoW
• Armour/Weapons Fow, Torment staff
• Titles/Achievements Prot of x * 3, Holy Lightbringer - loads.
• Pet(s) - Spider, but rarely used
• Most Hated Enemies Nerf Bats, otherwise none
• Quests - Has done All of them
• Age 21 - what else

• Character Birthplace Tyria
• Family Ties - Parents died in the searing, has 5 sisters which are now scattered all over
• Marital Status - Single and loving it

• Personality Traits
A help anyone in need, Upper class(not a snob) but deadly. A seductive killer with a hint of mischief. Does'nt like to farm. Thats what her sisters are for. Shan is pretty private to strangers, she will help them where she can, but she only opens her heart up to those she really knows. Shan does know Sanra well.
• Fears - Losing her armor collection and Nerf Bats
• Armor preferences: Mostly FoW, but feel free to draw Shan how you see fit

Well, unfortunately I don't have such an elaborate character bio as Shan.

Sanra is just a nice friendly character who sometimes turns into an evil ruthless villain if there's a braindead wammo around (no matter what party the warrior is in) or if there's any necro/eles to interrupt. And she likes pretty clothing.
